Description:

Micron Technology is hiring a detail-driven Data Engineer to build and scale the next generation of big data and cloud warehouse solutions that power intelligence, analytics, and operational efficiency for one of the world's leading semiconductor innovators. You’ll drive design, architecture reviews, and deployment of cloud-centric solutions while leading projects and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities include creating data pipelines with Python and GCP, managing Snowflake and other DB systems (SQL Server, HANA, Oracle), developing ETL frameworks, and contributing hands-on to business intelligence and analytics. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to ensure robust data models, best practices, and operational reliability. Experience with data warehousing, analytics, and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
• 3+ years in data engineering and analytics
• 3–5 years hands-on developing cloud data solutions (Snowflake, GCP)
• Skilled in Python, SQL modeling/development
• Familiarity with database management systems (Snowflake, SQL Server, HANA, Oracle)
• Exposure to BI tools, finance data, SAP landscape (preferred)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
